you never gave the impression that you  /didn’t/  enjoy someone’s suffering.  so,  naturally.  i assumed.  and yes-  i can handle a sharp tongue,  it’s one of the things that makes life more fun.  as for what i came for,  that’s not really that important.

just because you can ascend to heaven all you like,  do not mean that i won't be waiting for you when you come back down.  and me..  well,  i'm not really anyone important.  just someone who had met an unfortunate end due to an illness that killed me from the inside out.  and yes-  more of a fox.

(   silence is all that graces the atmosphere after the flash of light.  emerald take in the sight-  it’s definitely different from what souji had expected,  but not that he would ever admit it out loud.  one moment passes,  then two.  to which the ghost had  /finally/  managed to retrieve his voice once more.   )   and here i thought that a witch was adorable.  seems i was half-  correct in my opinion.

⠀   ⠀   ⠀  a first division captain who works directly under a commander.  in a way,  he could be considered a general of sorts.  however,  after one fateful battle.  souji ended up developing tuberculosis which ended up in him coughing up blood,  losing his strength,  and eventually losing his appetite.  he is eventually deemed on bedrest.
            
               ⠀   ⠀   ⠀  a chronic prankster and often teases his friends and subordinates,  but his mischief also has a more sinister side,  as he delights in tormenting his enemies.  due to his rough childhood,  souji could not understand the value of life except for the people he cares for.  he genuinely enjoys fighting and killing and is quick to make either playful or serious threats.  however,  rather than slaughtering people indiscriminately,  he selects his targets based on whether he perceives them as enemies.  maintains a carefree and even childish attitude towards most things.  however, despite his constant mischief,  he is neither shallow  -  minded nor ignorant of the burdens he and the rest of the world bear.
            
               ⠀   ⠀   ⠀  turned ghost after his death at the age of twenty - one due to his illness,  he works closely with the undead.  however,  he also finds enjoyment in teasing anyone  -  well.  not anyone.  xie lian is the only person not teased since he doesn't want to risk getting hua cheng on his case.
