There wasn't really any sort of excuse for this. Curly simply reasons, “ I didn't sleep well last night. Think I'm seeing double. ” Which is partly true. He keeps his gaze on Michael, absentmindedly. Even though the reason the man had spoken up was... That very reason. The staring.

Michael didn’t speak right away, he just stayed silent and looked away. Looking back at the newspaper he was holding and reading. “Yeah…you were.” He muttered finally.
Curly starts at the sound of the other man, blinking rapidly before meeting his gaze. Truth be told, he hadn't been entirely present... The red sea pulling away from him to reveal the mundane, albiet strange, room he was in. A blank face molds into an apologetic expression, awkward smile pulling at his lips.
“ Shit. Am I staring? I'm so sorry. ”
