Okay, so I’ve been in bed sick for the last two weeks, don’t have a voice, and have been itching to write. I made a new account specifically for my Peaky Blinders drabbles. And have a new story idea up!

Question. What length for a chapter is generally deemed suitable and engaging by readers before losing interest?

First chapter of my new story. It is a “retelling” of Bernard Cornwall’s The Saxon Stories and it’s Netflix adaption The Last Kingdom. Hope you all enjoy!

          "Easy there, Naemyra," He scolded in High Valyrian when she allowed her blind haste to get the best of her. She stumbled forward, losing her balance. Daemon then watched her trip over her dress and collapse to the ground, unable to keep her footing.

Need some prayers right now. I usually don’t talk about myself or personal matters but I just got the news that my dads kidneys are failing and every thought/prayer helps ❤️
