the anemone flower has many dual meanings. 
it's a symbol of protection, of the first spring winds as you run through the fields, your veins filled with excitement and love for life itself.
the anemone is twilight and anticipation and the cool rain as it drips down your face, splitting it into the widest grin you could ever wear.
the anemone isn't always seen as that, though.
the anemone is betrayal, standing alone, forsaken beneath the shelter of a bus stop, heartbroken and freezing under the same rain that you once laughed in.
the anemone is bad luck and being forgotten.
that's why the anemone is my favorite flower.
