Publishing plans for July 27-Aug 2, 2026
I just need to get back to writing... the last 3 weeks has produced a lot less than intended/planned.
Daughter of the Dragon: 2 chapters are in the polish phase; one or both could be completed. If not, they will arrive next week.
Kamikaze: Same as Daughter, 2 chapters in polish, may or may not be ready this week.

A bit late, seeing as it's the 27th today... but last week was a horrible mess in the personal life space, so got exactly zero writing (or anything else really) done.
Anyway. Hopefully next (this) week will be better.

Publishing plans for July 13-19, 2026
Another slow week expected. Warm weather continues + I've got plans for the weekend. Next week, the classic Norwegian "summer" is expected to return; however, I expect writing to pick up again then.
Daughter of the Dragon: 2 chapters are in the polish phase; one or both could be completed. If not, they will arrive next week.

Sunday update:
We had some actual summer weather this week, so my already limited writing time was severely curtailed.
The I, Immortal update got published, but both Daughter of the Dragon and Kamikaze parts were pushed until next week.

Tuesday update:
Finally got the "I, Immortal" revision done.
It's the same story, but told in a much more engaging fashion, I hope.
This was one of the first short stories I ever wrote, so while it had some very interesting ideas, I don't think the presentation held up.
Anyway. Now it's done. Hope you like it.

Publishing plans for July 6-12, 2026
This will be a busy week IRL, with only Monday through Thursday writing days, and Monday is already mostly gone lol.
So essentially:
1-2 Daughter of the Dragon chapters
1-2 Kamikaze chapters
And the final pass on "I, Immortal" --> I was going to do it yesterday, but had to watch Norway beat Brazil in the FIFA WC instead.

Saturday update:
Daughter of the Dragon: 2 chapters OK
Kamikaze: 2 chapters OK
Tomorrow I'll work on the update to the short story "I, Immortal" and hopefully get it wrapped up.
Which will conclude this week's writing.

Monday: Daughter of the Dragon Chapter 21 (OK)
Tuesday-Friday: 2-3 chapters of Kamikaze
Late week: One additional DoD chapter.
Delayed bonus: Revised I, Immortal short story.

Sunday update:
We finally had some warm weather, so very little writing got done this weekend.
Already delayed Daughter of the Dragon chapter --> Pushed to Monday.
So only 1 DoD chapter was actually completed this week. At least it was a good one...
I managed 3 chapters, close to 10k words of Kamaikaze, so well beyond what was planned.
And as I mentioned, "I, Immortal" has been delayed until next week.

Thursday update:
The Daughter chapter is giving me a bit of grief, so it will be delayed for a few days. It's not the chapter itself, but a pretty significant rewrite and expansion of the next 10 or so chapters as a whole.
Should be ready Saturday or Sunday.
As a follow-on effect, I'm also pushing the I, Immortal update to next week.
But we'll have a bonus Kamikaze chapter to compensate.
