This book meant SO much to me. That’s why I haven’t read the last 7 chapters (I’m holding on the feeling it gives me lol) I feel as if I don’t get to experience life enough so I can sometimes get so easily wrapped up in the books that I read & this one has really shifted something in me. This book made me cry, laugh & just feel so free & confident in myself. I even made a whole playlist when I read it, including the songs you mentioned in the book. This story was beautifully written & I am SO SO GLAD that this book was recommended to me. You are an amazing writer & you’ve inspired me to join workshops at my local library & to take my writing more seriously. I’m really looking forward to your next piece of work. Mannnn, I cried immediately after reading this. This is genuinely one of the most beautiful messages I’ve ever received, and I don’t even know if I have the words to explain how much it meant to me to read. When you said that you feel like you don’t get to experience life enough sometimes, so you get wrapped up in the books you read, that really touched me because I’m the same way!! Books have always been an escape for me too. To know that Solè and Zaire’s story could make you laugh, cry, feel free, feel confident, and leave something behind in you means EVERYTHING to me. And the fact that you’re joining workshops at your local library and taking your writing more seriously? that inspired me too. Reading that honestly made me want to also look into local workshops and continue pushing myself as a writer. It’s crazy how things come full circle like that LMAO. I’m so honored that this story found you and that you connected with it the way you did. The fact that you made a playlist, held onto the last few chapters because you didn’t want the feeling to end, and took the time to leave me this message makes me so incredibly happy.
