Chapter 39 is out, my bros! And once again: !!SPOILERS!! ahead for everyone who has not read part one of the manga. This chapter is the pain chapter. For this one, I highly recommend sad music and a concerning amount of tissues.
It also has some sweet little art in it. The final chapter is still being beta read because I made a few last-minute changes, haha, but it should be out soon too. ( We all thank Nero for her work!! )
I would really love to hear your thoughts on this chapter. You guys know I put a lot of thoughts into sad chapters—how they are written, how they feel, and how the emotions come across, like in the extra chapter with Jade. I put a lot of thought into this one too: how to build it, how to handle it, and what approach would make it hit the hardest. So please tell me what you thought, and whether it was sad enough. (/□＼)
The next two chapters will not have author’s notes, hehe. But before the Act Five chapter, there will be something unusual for me: a foreword for Act Five, along with some of my thoughts going into it.
