as someone who has read 3/4 books in off campus series — the show is BETTER. those books are so BAD. so bad u can’t stop reading them lmao. the deal was the only one where i was genuinely like okay there’s some plot besides smut. obviously, it’s meant to be smutty but you don’t feel the romantic connection between the characters. beau’s death in the mistake is so badly written, i barely sympathized with him. allie and dean have way more chemistry in the show than in the books. i’m usually book >>> adaptation girlie but ig off campus is the exception.
