they had been so, so incredibly beautiful. with the stars reflecting in their eyes, the
moon illuminating their silhouette, their laughter chasing away the cold and that genuine smile on their thin, elegant lips. it was like they had been made of the universe itself, as if whatever form of celestial power there was had personally
formed their being. had woven galaxies together, merged suns, stolen light of the stars and the hues
of colour from out of the darkness to shape them, paint them, like an artist would carefully yet
          passionately bring to life a masterpiece.

i have been careful, but sometimes i can’t help it - wanting to intertwine my fingers with yours, pulling you close, savouring your sleepy eyes and pouty mouth before you start complaining. what i can’t help the most is yearning for you, as the desire for more intensifies everyday, whether im with you or not, all i want is you.  
          
          and the fact is im so scared of telling you that i've lied to the people closest to me about liking you to ensure that you don't find out, because i'd rather have you as a friend than not have you at all
