How do you not lose inspiration in writing stories? It's so hard to go on with them!

@ukiyostatuesque I think it's pretty easy to gather a bunch of vague and messy ideas. The hard part is organizing them into something that makes sense and going through with them.

To that, I suggest patience. It's ok to be on a hiatus once in a while, sometimes it's necessary.

There are stories that I gave up on not because I had no ideas for them but because they didn't feel like the best I could do.

There are also stories that I've been planning and working on for years because I allowed myself to take as much time as I wanted. And because I really thought that those ideas were worth it.

I don't think it's about inspiration. Even when you have a writer's block you eventually come out of it let it be by reading other stories or something else. I think the difficult part is resilience. Working towards something without seeing immediate results.

To that I'd say you have to remember the first spark of excitement that idea gave you and hold on to it.

Thanks for listening to my Ted talk. Take this advice as a pinch of salt since I'm probably projecting my own difficulties here.

          	  Good day
