THE QUIET ARCHITECTURE OF A BETTER LIFE

          PILLAR 6 — ACT WITHOUT DELAY

          Procrastination is one of the greatest barriers to personal growth, as it prevents individuals from taking timely action towards their goals and responsibilities. Tasks that are postponed often become more intimidating over time, creating unnecessary stress and making progress appear more difficult than it truly is. In many cases, procrastination stems from perfectionism, where people delay starting because they fear making mistakes or producing imperfect results. However, meaningful growth is achieved through action rather than endless hesitation. One practical way to overcome procrastination is by creating a to-do list, as it provides structure, organisation, and a clear sense of direction. The satisfaction of completing a task and crossing it off the list can serve as a powerful source of motivation. Similarly, setting small goals and rewarding yourself upon their completion can make larger responsibilities feel more manageable and encourage consistency. Ultimately, success is not determined by intention alone, but by the willingness to act without delay and remain committed to steady progress.

Assalamu alaikum,

          im a bit late because i wanted to say this when i followed you but i didn't expect you to follow me back ummulkhear
          (i hope you liked my poetry book)

          But i forgot to say you're like the 1st alive and active Muslim author i encounter after a WHILE,and im happy to found you.

          The Muslim section on wattpad almost feels like a ghost town,as a new author i was hoping i could get a opinion on how slow or what things are like around here.

          Is the fanbase even active?i really don't want to get my hopes crushed.

          JazakAllahu khairan

@ummulkhear

             yeah,but i have like 1 ghost follower and the other one is you.
            But somehow i have ten reads on my book.

            i know everything will get better with time and i should just focus on a steady upload alongside my studies but i cant help but feel a bit disappointed

            I will try to be present and i hope you can be a familiar face in my comment sections.

            writting angst,longing and melancholic humen emotions seem to be my strong suit but mainly halal(to the best of my ability) layered stories sprinkled with comedy.

            The stories are coming as they are a lot of work and are going to be pretty long so i hope you will enjoy them!

Sometimes the heaviness you feel isn’t because your life is falling apart, but because your heart is slowly drifting away from the One who gives it peace. You go through your days doing everything you’re supposed to do talking, working, scrolling, even laughing but deep down there’s a quiet emptiness that nothing seems to fill. And the truth is, that space in your heart was never meant for this dunya; it was meant for Allah. He tells us, “Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest” (Qur’an 13:28), reminding us that real peace was never going to come from people, achievements, or distractions, no matter how much we chase them. What’s beautiful is that returning to Allah doesn’t require you to be perfect or to have everything figured out. It doesn’t start with big changes, it starts with sincerity. A small du‘a, a moment of honesty, a quiet “Ya Allah, I need You” can be enough to begin.
