@Almondpocket_66pcket hello thank u for this msg <3 it depends on what ur preference is, but id recommend jeanette winterson, annie ernaux, ocean vuong, tell the wolves I'm home, mrs s by k patrick - they're all lit fic leaning; wide sargasso sea is good as well, jean rhys in general is wonderful. angela carter - the bloody chamber!!!! cannot recommend this woman enough, beautifully violent fairytale retellings. the lonely city by olivia laing!!! (non fic) i love to read a lot of fantasy as well, i don't know if you'd be into that though - the winternight trilogy, ava reid's books, the spear cuts through water (this made me realize form is a thing), horseman (folk-horror-ish). looking glass sound - v v convoluted but i thought abt it for days afterwards. poetry - agha shahid ali, mary oliver, langston hughes, emily dickinson.

@un-lost no but studying for exams is just insulting your inner child that dominated 4th grade English class so it’s all good

like i had an anatomy exam the next day (and a imp one) and i kept procrastinating by scribbling down potential ideas for my first tattoo it was so stupid

@hxlios ikkkkkkk this reminded me of a movie abt a girl who saw god / had a vision as a kid and then got famous but it never happened again and in her 20s she started obsessing over trying to make it happen trying to be the perfect little holy lamb and it didnt and she spiralled into insanity it was so fucking good
