I miss when HYBE was bighit.

I wish the company wasnt so money hungry anymore, because everything feels like a money stunt now.
Am i bad for saying this?
As much as i love ENHYPEN, TXT, & SVT, I feel the company felt real when it was just BTS as their big group. When Bang Sihyuk was still the boss.

It feels bad to say it. The company feels like every other ent business in kpop. No more vlive apparently now that HYBE has bought it.

@uncle_frank Yeah that's true, just personally it felt like they went to kpop to global pop which just for me personally got less entertaining. I'm not saying them going to global pop is necessarily bad at all, I'm glad the attention and fame butter, dynamite, my universe, and PTD gave them because they truly deserved it. I just feel like BTS is not the same and their music isnt as entertaining anymore, catchy, but not entertaining and it doesnt feel the same. Again I'm not saying it's a bad thing that it isnt the same but it just feels off in a way? Like I love their older music, it was so much more meaningful and magical to listen to but now, not so much. But I will always love and be grateful to BTS for helping me through hard times and getting me into kpop :) ♡

@deadfroggo i don't think so. I mean sure three English songs one after the other as title tracks but the BE album as critics point of view was really good and to their roots you know, and even the proof b-side tracks both of them were success bops that could've gained massive streams if converted into the official track with an mv but ofcourse they aren't producing music for streams but out of genuineness. Yet to come is a thriving example for that. Why put a Korean ballad song with almost no mv graphical production as a theme song? Run BTS with a lot of fancy production and choreography would've topped a lot, it already has being a b-side track. True that they lost their originality after that unexpected success of dynamite but i think they've found their way back. After all BTS are not k-pop. They're global pop. So trying new things shouldn't be considered as permantly westernising. A lot k-netz find an excuse to dispose them but i Don't see any point.

Idk abt the other grps but BTS have not been money greedy or have been economically influenced by their company.

I took a mental health break in 2022 as i was very depressed and stressed out due to school. Only recently have i gotten a bit better mentally, so i tried to log back into this account only for it to not work.

Apparently my password no longer worked here so i had to create a new account. I will be posting this on other pages so they know.
