1-intro 
          
          We have chosen an article from the magazine I Love English World, it is entitled “Reaction to the George Floyd protests”. It was written in November 2020, and it focuses on Black Lives Matter. First, we are going to talk about Georges Floyd and who he was. Then, we are going to describe interviews about it. Last, we are going to present some people who have had an influence on the history of African Americans.
          
          2-summary 
          
          First, Georges Floyd was an American footballer and on May 25th 2020 he was the victim of a police attack. He died strangled by a policeman because he was black in Minnesota.
          Then, some people reacted to the crime, even celebrities reacted and thanks to their popularity, they were able to share their feelings and influence people's opinions to make them aware of the racism.
          As a consequence, this act provoked reactions all over the world and people developed a movement called Black Lives Matter. This movement has existed since 2013.
          A long time ago, black people were slaves and sidelined, but some people wanted to change that, like Rosa Park who didn't give up her seat on a bus to someone white. And Barack Obama who became the first African American president.
          
          But, even years later, murders are still committed because black people are considered different and inferior, even though we are all different.
          
          3 – Your opinion.
          
          To conclude, we have learned a little more about the history of black people in America.
          we have found it interesting because we could see the opinion of some people about the crime committed.
          We have chosen this article because it's a big event that makes you think about the acts that hatred can lead to. some people kill others because they are different and I find that unacceptable.
          The most interesting aspect is the movement that developed afterwards and makes you aware of what happened.

"Au fait", "à ce sujet", sigle employé dans les discussions électroniques instantanées et qui provient de l'anglais "by the way". Reprend en bloc les propos d'un autre interlocuteur pour aborder un sujet nouveau. "BTW" fait ainsi transition entre deux sujets différents.

Lol est un acronyme issu de l'expression anglaise laughing out loud que l'on peut traduire par « rire aux éclats » ou « mort de rire ».

Anglicisme appartenant au vocabulaire des jeunes. Littéralement "laughing my ass off" (rire à s'en taper le cul, mort de rire). L'abréviation ROFLMAO va plus loin : "rolling on the floor laughing my ass" : rouler par terre mort de rire. Exemple : Quand j'ai vu le nouvel épisode de la série, j'étais LMAO !
