I have thought of another important reason for this petition! If lots of people follow you, and you follow them, but then a bunch unfollow you, then it's just going to keep piling up until the point where you can't follow anybody else! You've reached the limit! Do you really want to follow people who have 6,000 followers but no books, or people who have 10 followers but really well written books?

Okay now that people are being so negative about this, I'm getting discouraged about this whole thing in general. I've seen at least five people say they dont care about this and think it's "pointless."

@unfollowingpetition you might mistake some of my points, and I completely understand that everyone has different opinions. fawn, I know you and candlelight are smart and clear enough to see that it is not necessary for this function to exist. no, I am not trying to change your mind. I respect everyone's opinion and I don't think it is 'pointless'. I never mentioned that word, did I? personally, this idea is creative. yep, I have to say that. I have never thought of this function before. what I am trying to express is that if someone's on wattpad only to care about followers, they can't find the real fun that exists on wattpad. everyone wants more followers, even I do, I understand your feelings. I have been a small creator as well before, don't we all? is it necessary to upset yourself with all the unfollowers? life is short, be happy. don't tell me that you will smile and say bye to the unfollowers, because that is impossible think about it, if you know who unfollowed you, would it make people think twice when they follow you? once, I accidentally unfollowed my friend. it might be an accident, wasn't it? if you are going to hunt down every single unfollower, you will lose a lot of friends and wattpad will be a place with more chaos not going to pressure you to change your opinion. I do respect everyone's opinion and here are just mine :) have a nice day!

I think this petition is unnecessary because it’s pretty pointless, and you would see the notification and think: omg why did this person unfollow hmph
and you would get bad feelings.
And you might hold a grudge against that person.
you COULD have a algorithm thingy, where you could see who unfollowed you, but not as a notif, because it would be useless and maybe even annoying.
Fawn, I know you are a small account, but think about the big accounts- people unfollow and follow all the time. Combined with the follow notifs, it would drive a person mad.
And to finish off, I think that it would be too much hassle for even small accounts and make them feel dispirited of not having enough followers and losing them.
Wattpad isn’t about followers, it’s about your content. If you content is shabby but you have many followers, you don’t REALLY deserve the followers.
I’m not a hate page, but I’m just pointing out some ideas. Bye for now:
@puffingcat Okay, thanks for your opinion. I'm not trying to contradict it, but you just might be a person that doesnt care about followers. I get that. But what about the people who actually care about having followers? We want to know when people unfollow us, because we have a right to know. I get that you think it might make some people feel sad, but do you think there are babies on wattpad? No. That's why there's an age limit. Please don't call this peition pointless. You can have your opinion, and I can have mine. "Fawn, I know you are a small account." Is that supposed to mean this account, or my main account? Because that's pretty offensive to me. I know there's people on wattpad who have 10,000 followers but don't have any books. I myself only have 585 followers, and eleven books. If you don't want to be a part of this, I suggest you stay away from this account. ‧☆Fawn‧☆

Welcome! I see you've stumbled upon our account! Our main goal is to get wattpad to put the feature of getting a notif when someone unfollows you. I myself have just lost a lot of followers, and was slightly annoyed that I didn't know who did it. But then, @cxndielightt came up with a great idea! Make a petition!
