Dear society,
          
          Be a man,
          Toughen up,
          Don’t show others how you really feel,
          It makes you look weak.
          
          You have to look strong, 
          You need to only like women,
          You have to like women with curves but aren’t fat,
          You have to be fit, really fit.
          
          Dear society,
          
          Be a women,
          Be pretty,
          Be seductive, don’t be a slut,
          Be skinny, but have curves. 
          
          You have to wear makeup,
          But not to much or you’ll look bad,
          You have to like boys that are fit,
          You have to be popular. 
          
          Dear society,
          
          Why must we need to fit into your gender roles,
          Why can’t we just love who we want to,
          Why must we need to fit into your level of attraction, 
          Can’t we just be ourselves. 
          
          Why can I not choose my own friends,
          Why can I not be weird,
          Or dress the way I want to with out being labelled,
          You put too much pressure on everyone to fit,
          Into your standards.
