@harperliamreed Lucius could make a mistake on a mission that causes voldie to torture Narcissa and Draco in front of him. This could be the moment he truly realizes how deep in the rabbits hole he is and how his choices have affected his life and family. The family would then try and find shelter somewhere voldie wouldn’t look for them like the Weasleys who they have a blood feud with. The Weasleys would then call Harry instead Dumbledore because they trust him more. Harry would then offer them protection and permission to live at one of his family houses or protection and the chance to get revenge on voldie by being spies to find out where his horcuxes are.
