Status Update:
          
          Alright, I’ll keep this short this time.
          
          As you can guess, no progress. I haven’t made anything. To be fair, I didn’t expect to get this busy, but at the same time it’s on me for wasting time on something useless.
          
          Anyway, let’s get one thing straight: you’re annoyed with me and I’m annoyed with myself for saying the same thing every month. So here’s my proposal:
          Instead of me writing the same status update again and again, you can just ask me when there’s an update or what the progress is. 
          (Don’t get your hopes up. I’m the same guy who didn’t write that much during summer break, so yeah… don’t expect too much progress. I might try to release the chapter before my birthday. Unrealistic, but let’s see if I can stick to my own words.)
          
          The only thing I actually got done is finalizing the story description. For those too lazy to check it out, here it is:
          
          "Dive into Nintendo High, where Mario and Luigi are teenagers living their wildest school year yet! Join the iconic brothers as they face off against familiar foes, forge new friendships and tackle the challenges of high school life.  Get ready for a ride at Nintendo High!

          "A NEW PARTY MEMBER" has joined the roster.
          
          That's right it's you. Or rather, an insert of you.
          
          Introducing our very own innocent bastard. A professional idiot who somehow volunteered for this role free of charge. No payment, no dignity, no shame. Expecting originality? Something fresh? Ha! Instead, get ready for the most hilariously inaccurate reader-insert you've ever seen.
          
          Y/N: Me. Y/N."

Status Update:
          Another month nearing its end and another status update. Damn, time sure flew fast.
          Alright, time to get to the point.
          
          Progress-wise, I actually managed to write this time. Even if it’s just in tiny bits, it’s still something I can proudly call progress.
          Nintendo High Chapter 2 Part 2: Word count – 4000
          
          This is a draft, by the way. Meaning the important stuff has already been written down instead of me having no progress at all.
          
          So, am I done or not?
          No. It’s a draft. Most of the dialogue is either out of character, missing, or just placeholder descriptions of scenes. A lot of this will probably get scrapped and replaced with something better.
          
          Looking at it now, I’m estimating at least 6000 to 7000 words once it’s finished. Probably… whenever that will be.
          
          As for the second fanfic I mentioned in the last update, the first chapter is about halfway drafted. Still not gonna reveal anything about it. Like I said before, it’ll only release once it’s done. So, ehhh… whenever that happens.
          
          Honestly, I’m surprised drafting turned out way more effective than I thought. I’ve made more progress this way than when I tried editing while writing at the same time.
          
          Also, out of context: Funnily enough, I got some kind of suicide warning from Wattpad. Had to laugh my ass off. Damn, already got my first Wattpad report. Didn’t know hating yourself counts as a suicide reason, but ok. I couldn’t care less about the reports. Everything’s saved on my laptop, so nice try buddy. I’m way ahead.

Status update:
          Well, here I am after one month. I’m going to keep this announcement short.
          
          Currently, 1320 words have been written for the next chapter. I am satisfied with what I’ve written so far, 
          unless my stupid brain decides to rewrite it.
          
          Is this chapter close to completion? No. Still far away from it.

Status Update:
          From now on, I will probably share with you guys every two weeks or after a month how much progress has been made or what the situation is right now with the fanfic. This is probably better than leaving six months of radio silence.
          
          Let's get to the point. There has been no progress in the last two weeks since Chapter 2 Part 1 was released. The reasons are exams and a little bit of laziness. Anyway, I should at least be able to make a little bit of progress in the middle of May, but I can't promise anything. The only thing I have done is some brainstorming of ideas in my head for Nintendo High and thinking of ideas for a Sonic IDW story.

          Also, for anyone who is interested in my FNF modding hobby. I haven't made any progress for, I don't know, six or seven months. Yeah, I haven't worked on the Vs. Mecha port for that long. I can't really say anything about it, considering I am currently lacking the motivation to continue it. Will I finish the port? Yes. When? I don't know.
