   ⁽  tim  was  doing  the  same  thing,  dipping  his  fries  into  the  chocolate  ice  cream  and  leaning  his  head  back.  ⁾  i  can't  believe  you've  never  tried  that  before.  i  thought  it  was  weird  at  first  until  i  tried  it.  don't  ever  knock  it  till  you  try  it  that's  my  motto.  right  beside  do  first  and  think  later.  ⁽  he'd  glance  his  way  and  their  eyes  briefly  met  and  he  smiled,  softer  than  normal.  ⁾  it  has  been  fun.  thanks  for  hangin with  me.

( dev released him, the room honestly feeling as if it were spinning. it truly did feel like it was just them. he turned, then grabbed tim's hand again, trudging toward the punch bowl. ) psshh, yeah, of course you could. 

   ⁽  with  his  hands  being  free  they  rested  against  his  hips,  his  fingers  splaying  out  and  gripping.  instead  of  looking  at  him  directly  he  briefly  glanced  off  to  the  side,  letting  go.  ⁾  let's  go  get  new  ones.  i  could  drink  too.
