It’s time for the annual rereading of Lost History & Everlasting History so I can remember the plot and what the heck I was trying to plan for the next chapters

Do my readers who enjoyed reading my Scaramouche fanfiction, "Lost History", what aspect of the story do you believe made it good or stand out to you?
I'm trying to gather feedback to see how I can make my other ongoing fanfictions more enjoyable as well :)

@unluckytrefle Personally for me, what made it connect to me so much was definitely the bonds in it that made the characters feel real to me. It was about 2 years ago since I read that fic, (2023) and it's still one of my top favourites, because I couldn't count how many times the interactions genuinely melted my heart, while also tearing it apart very brutally. It's beautiful so it's no wonder I cried for days over it I felt like I was a part of the world since it was so well written. I also enjoyed the writing style since it resonated with me. Your writing style is very vivid while also very simple to understand. I love the way the story flows and every chapter is always enjoyable to read through. Overall, Lost History was such a memorable fic to me, I checked out your other fics and I was just as impressed. ^^ But, honestly? I think I will enjoy the chapters you write regardless of my preferences. Write whatever suits best for the story !

Im not a writer, so idrk what actually MAKES a piece of writing so good but all ik is whatever you were cooking up there worked because i was so emotionally invested i teared up (i never cry) also while i havent read the actual book in a while so i forgot major details, i remember being very satisfied with the way the story was wrapped up even though it was tragic. Also, unrelated, but i really like how you connected lost history with everlasting history it actually seems like smth that would feasibly happen (in a fantasy ofc) and didnt feel like a stretch universe wise. While it IS a modern au i liked having it explained that it is just what culture has evolved into while still having traces of history leading back to the old book. (Sorry if this was too long or unhelpful for what you asked the question for)

@unluckytrefle honestly the angst and just the chemistry. That was the first ever fanfic that genuinely made me cry because i was able to feel what the story was supposed to make me feel
