Little sneak peak for ya
Not telling when this is gonna happen and not saying anything else besides this :)
“The dead leaves at my feet crackled, I tried to stay as quiet as I could getting back to our base. I had caught a rabbit as I was scouting. My dagger rested in my right hand with the rabbit in the other. My only protection I had was the dagger and the rope on my belt loop.
I heard leaves crack. They weren’t mine. I stopped and as quietly as I could, hid behind the nearest tree. Many things ran through my head. Who is it? Have they been following me? If so, how long? Do they know I’m here? Do they have any weapons? Are they running from-
My thoughts were interrupted by a familiar scream. I knew who. I put my dagger in its ring form and I set the dead rabbit on the ground. I carefully ran in the direction of the scream.
I rounded a tree and saw the brown haired girl holding a puncture wound. “Delilah!” I yelled rather loudly.”
