            they immediately moved away from the touch and sent a glare towards the stranger.  "do not touch me without permission."  she voiced firmly.  "if I did not know any better  ,  I would assume you were making a threat."  this seemed more like  ..  a warning?  she was unsure.  "  ..  are you asking for my name?"  all of these indirect statements were making her head hurt.  "if so  ,  it's hao – yu.  use it sparingly."

noella reached for the other and poked her finger against her cheek, then held it there. “words are to be played with, buddy. how else could you ever speak?” her lips curved into a teasing smile as she tilted her head slightly to the side. “you may not be harmed yet, but you will be. what do people call you?”

(  she  nodded  as  she  listened,  a  habit  she  had  to  show  when  she  was  paying  attention  to  conversations.  it  was  fascinating  to  her  that  he  made  his  own  weapons.  )         a  few.  i’m  suck  with  spears,  but  i’m  pretty  decent  with  a  bow  and  arrow,  and  smaller  blades.  i  prefer  my  swords  though.

"I can make numerous blades.  swords are my specialty  —  things less complex  ,  such as knives or daggers  ,  are much easier to craft.  other than that  ,  I have carved my own bow."  a wheel of options  ,  just as their father desired.
