“It was always you.”
“How could I…ever forget?”
“It was you, John.”
John just stared at me for awhile, until his face finally revealed a smile.
“Yes, you remember me now, Arlo.”
*dies* I can’t write rn its too early for this but hey you got a sneak peek of a jarlo story in my drafts so… yay?
Tears streamed down the blond’s face.
“Will I… ever see you again?”
“Maybe not. Maybe so. But even if you never see me again… I’ll always be next to you. Watching you, supporting you. I’ll be there, even if you can’t see me.”
“Why… me? I’m a horrible person.”
“You call yourself horrible, even after you went through all that trouble to remember me again? You’re amazing. You’re the only person who tried. The only person who didn’t let my memory float away into nothing. I appreciate everything, Arlo. I’ll stay with you. Okay?”
John took a few steps closer to Arlo and wiped away his tears with his hands.
Arlo could only nod.
“Okay”

@LampLamp1 literally! And I rly don't enjoy it when ppl have him just trauma dump to literally anyone at anytime & tell everything that ever happened to him & all that. He literally pretended to be a null for years & go thru constant beatings so he wouldn't have to tell the person he trusted most about his past (and obvi bc he didn't trust himself). Obvi it's okay to have him open up some more, but it just feels eugh for the over sharing
