thank you all so much for your support and how sweet you were under my last post on here, it honestly means the world to me and coming back to it made my heart so warm. 
          
          i’m still not 100% but i’m so so ready to start writing again, and while i can’t promise the updates will be instant and back to back, i can promise they will be written with all the effort in the world.

i just wanted to put this out there right now because i’ve made the executive decision that it’s best for me and my mental health to not be on my phone for the next few days. 
          
          recently i’ve been really struggling with a depressive episode that had been coming in waves for about a month or so - which is why the updates have slowed down so drastically. 
          
          i still LOVE writing these fics so much - but when i’m struggling to brush my teeth in the morning it’s even harder to find the energy to do hobbies. 
          
          however these fics are NOT ON HIATUS. i still have all my chapters planned, i still write when i can and i’m hoping taking this time for myself will ultimately allow me to be more productive with wattpad and my life in general. i see how much you guys love these books and these characters and it warms my heart - and that’s why i wanted to let you all know that you won’t be losing content. i’m not going to un-publish or put any books on hold.

          i posted about this on my latest published chapter but i want to make this post so i can have a wider reach.
          
          what is happening is not okay and it was never okay. black people are dying in the streets by a force that is supposed to ‘protect and serve’. 
          
          it you can’t get to the streets that’s okay. there’s a pandemic, people are vulnerable to it and you may not live locally to where demonstrations are happening - that’s all okay. 
          
          but we all need to make an effort to be actively anti racist. it’s not easy but it’s essential and we all owe it to the black community to do our work. it is not fair and it is not right to leave it up to them. 
          
          we need to have the uncomfortable conversations with friends, family and co-workers and make sure we are not facilitating racist views and behaviour. we need to sign the petitions and donate (if you can) and we need to use our privilege and platforms to make sure everyone who is following us knows where they can find resources and ways to help. 
          
          if you take this to the streets, be prepared and stay safe. know your rights and bring protection for the possibility of police reaction - and if things get hectic do not be ashamed to leave. you showed up. 
          
          stay safe, stay informed and stay angry.

          i’ve been toying with the idea of another fanfic for a while, and was thinking of starting it once i’m about halfway through in the crowd
          
          it’s a bit of a diversion from the softness and innocence of in the crowd, and will likely be more ‘adult’ in a sense, focused a lot on the celebrity lifestyles of young, overnight successes and the mental, emotional and physical repercussions of this
          
          if anyone would be interested let me know! otherwise i’ll probably keep it on the low for a while until in the crowd is finished
          
          and if you are interested, let me know what boy you’d like to see as the center of the story! i want you guys to be able to be an active part of this :)
