yes!! some traditions are very very odd, but some are super sentimental. a really common one the cast at my middle school would do is all the 8th graders (and leaving 7th graders) write letters to the cast and hand them out before the final show. very sweet and i may or may not have cried and kept every letter i’ve gotten over the past 4 years sigh
            
            and then there’s standing in a circle playing zip zap zop until places and the winner has to make a brainrot reference during the show. fun times!!
