I LOVE your mission to shine a new light on senior citizens. Love, love, love! Sometimes (in books, movies, media, advertisements, etc.) it seems we are lead to believe the most "exciting" times of our lives end somewhere around age 30. After that age--you're just a side character--like the cranky mom or the wacky old neighbor. It's as though love, passion and adventure no longer exist passed a certain age (according to media) or you're no longer considered capable of being the exciting lead in a story.

I'm trying to make my contribution to the efforts by putting those in their 40's and 50's in a new light. Although--on Wattpad where 90% of the population is under the age of 30--in can be quite the uphill battle. BUT--I think it's a battle worth pursuing. :)

Welcome to Wattpad! I hope to see you around more. :)

@MarilynAHepburn Thanks. I worked at a nursing home and hospital caring for senior aged residents and patients. They totally inspired me and were a very lively bunch. What I've tried to combat is what people perceive a senior citizen to be. Most aren't incapable of caring for themselves, they have adventures, romances, and take care of their own yards. It's nice to see more characters in their 40s and 50s and readers are responding favorably.
