A short story entry (under 1000) words for the travel brilliantly competition here on Wattpad. I enjoyed working on this, I read quite a bit of sci-fi stuff but I've never really attempted any. This story is a lot of fun so far. I admit to having a few ideas about the direction I want it to go in but I am also very mindful that this is just a draft! That is so liberating. I don't care if it's completely rubbish (well I do but I'm trying not to) because if it's rubbish, I can edit the crap out of it and fix it later.
