            I think this is true... Expecting the best always makes us worse, especially if those expectations don't align with our personalities and ambitions; then it backfires... And I think he is better this way because he represents himself, not others...and perhaps no one would have liked him if he wasn't rude or perverted, frankly, because that's just who Shidou  is.

@user33538812 yeah yeah! I feel like he went through a past where no one believed in him, belittled him, and wanted to confine him to a certain role—perhaps the perfect, good son—but he wasn't born for that. He then became an independent crazy and simply him, individual to prove himself. I really like his personality; he's amazing, and anyone who really looks at him can see that he's not just a deviant and deranged person as they claim. I feel he's much deeper than that.

            Right! Sometimes I feel like he killed someone close to them or something... I feel like he's been wronged, like a cute little kitten sometimes... It's good to get to know a good person like you, and that's because of Shidou 
            This shatters their expectations and proves he's a good person
