About myself. I am Sergey Volchenko.
My stories are the aesthetics of sleep.
I hold a degree in screenwriting from the Institute of Cinematography (VGIK), Moscow; I
am a member of the Writers' Union of Moscow. My short stories and essays have been published in
Russian in numerous journals and magazines, including "Kinostsenarii" (Screenp lays), "Antologiya
Strannogo Rasskaza" (Anthology of a Strange Story), "Zolotoy Vek" (Golden Age), "Zerkalo" (Mirror),
"Alef", "Strelets", "Kreshchatik", "Chernovik (Draft)", "Reflect»", "Muzyka i Vremya" (Music and Time),
"Panorama Iskusstv" (Art Panoram a). One story was read by Deutsche Welle and some of my works
were translated into Ukranian and published in "Zolota pektoral" magazine.
