Hi, I'm Polina. I didn't set out to become a writer; I have another life and another profession. But one idea came to me in a dream, stayed with me for twenty years, and finally became a novel.

I write romantic science fiction with a dystopian edge: love that is not there "just for love," but because it grows out of danger, impossible choices, and the need to save more than one life.

My debut novel, Melody of Time, is about a future that looks peaceful, brilliant, and almost perfect - until you ask who pays the price for it. It's a story about the nature and logic of intuition, power, moral traps, and love trying to survive the desire to save the world.
