Here's the latest on "My Friend Loki: Quarantine":  
          
          As I mentioned last week, I've finished the first stage of editing and onto stage two - each chapter will be saved as a file to be put into a folder and transferred to a USB for a readthrough with my beta reader. Chapter Two went into the folder today. From what I see, I have two more chapters to re-edit and then it will be smoother sailing! 
          
          I find it interesting as I re-edit these early chapters, I'm having to add/write a bit more to make a better connection (for lack of a better term). The adage is right, "It's not over, till it's over!" But it's all good. Or should I say, it's getting better!
           
          ON THE NINTH of this month, I celebrated the first birthday/anniversary of 'adopting' my Chromebook. Considering what we've been through and accomplished, like Tony Stark and JARVIS,  I've decided to name my laptop: JACOB. The reason I chose this name will be revealed when I re-release 'My Friend Loki: Quarantine.'

Here's the latest on "My Friend Loki: Quarantine":  
          
           I've finished the first stage of editing! I'm onto stage two - each chapter will be saved as a file to be put into a folder and transferred to a USB for a readthrough with my beta reader.  I realize some of the early chapters need to be rechecked though - during phase one I learned some new grammar rules. So it may take a bit more time, but it's all for the greater good. 
          
          Chapter One went into the folder yesterday.  And I had one of those "AHA - a connection moment!" with the first chapter and the last. Love it when that happens! Aiming for a release in early 2025. Thanks for being patient! <3

          I FINISHED EDITING CHAPTER 32 out of 32!
          
          Next, I'll take each chapter, make it into another text file, put it on a USB and give it to my beta reader. We'll discuss whether anything needs further revision/editing. I hope to release this sometime in 2025. 
          
          This journey, which has been a very long journey, has been a labour of love and I'm pretty excited to share the result of it with you all in due time! Thank you for being patient. <3  : )

          I'm working on editing the final chapter -  32! To paraquote from Wonder Woman 1984 (2020) -  hear me out - "The chapter is good, but it can be better!" So this may take the weekend to get 'er done. We'll see what happens. 
             
          I'll continue to keep you posted on how it's going! 
          
          For those who are asking when the book will be released? At this point, sometime in 2025. Remember, good things come to those who wait. Thank you all for being patient, it means a lot!

I don't know if anyone has kept up/read my updates, but here's the latest on "My Friend Loki: Quarantine": 
          
          The editing of Chapter 28 (of 32) is complete! It was the longest chapter to edit, so it shouldn't be too long to complete the rest of the editing, and then another read-through.

          Wow, I haven't posted an update since summer, my apologies for being amiss!  Here's the status of "My Friend Loki: Quarantine."
          
          I've made more progress! I'm currently editing Chapter 28 of 32. Once I'm done the editing, I will give it another read-through with my beta, and perhaps one more cursory editing check. I now aim for a release sometime by the end of the year.  Thanks for being patient!

          On this 'Writing Wednesday' here's an update on "My Friend Loki: Quarantine" and my apologies for repeating myself:
          
          I've made progress! Currently editing Chapter 26 of 31/32. It will be given another read-through with my beta, and perhaps one more editing check. I continue to aim for a release in October.

Who is excited to learn (via SDCC) that RDJ is returning to the MCU to be of all characters.... Doctor Doom?! I am! Luckily this will be taking part in another multiverse, so they can do whatever they want.  Very exciting!
