Thank you for the refresher @AmeliaWellis - Originally, I was going to release the whole book once I'm finished editing, but I'm planning on releasing it in parts as suggested above.
            
            Sadly, when it comes to communication, I have made several attempts to reach out to followers, but it's become a ghost town here these days. With many not happy with how Wattpad has changed, some have also left the app, and I noticed today I've lost followers. But there are other platforms I use to promote my work.
            
            I'd love to make better covers for my books, and I need to learn how to use Canva. Or find someone who would like their work showcased.  
            
            I agree, consistency does take a while, and I plan to enjoy the publishing "bursts" of my new book when the time comes.

You’re welcome and your kind words are certainly appreciated.
            
            Although some of the same stuff that has worked then works now.
            
            — A good launch of 4-5 chapters, then 2-3 consistent weekly updates.
            
            — Communicating with your readers/followers 
            
            — Making sure your chapters are well-written, edited to the best of your ability, and engaging.
            
            — Creating a good cover from Canva and non-AI related programs.
            
            — Genuinely following and communicating with other writers and readers and authentically reading, voting, and commenting on other people’s books. 
            
            Among other things.
            
            Yes, consistency realistically takes a while, but it should be a slow & steady race, NOT a marathon sprint to get readers. Many younger readers fail to realize this off the bat…..

            And I agree, Wattpad HAS truly changed since I joined in 2018, so I can relate to what you have mentioned in your guidebook. It's such a different world, and we need to find other options to get eyes on our work and communicate with others!

Friends, followers, lurkers and others who read my stories, it's time for another update on "My Friend Loki: Quarantine."  
          
          I finished editing Chapter 27 (of 32) and will soon be on Chapter 28. It's been quite a journey with life getting in the way, but I know I'm going to get to the finish line. 
          
          It does make me sad sometimes that Wattpad is no longer the same app as it once was, and the users I used to know are mostly MIA, but at the very least, it's still the best home for my stories... for now.

Just a quick update. I'll be working on editing Chapter 27 (of 32) of 'My Friend Loki: Quarantine.' I was ill last week, and it was a doozy of a sickness. I've finally come through the worst of it, but I haven't been ill like that in a while. But then I've also been going through some things that have caused a lot of stress lately. But I believe I've/we've finally come through the worst of that, too.

I finished editing Chapter 26 (of 32). Slow and steady, but I'm getting there.

For those who observe and celebrate, HAPPY PASSOVER! 
          
          I'm Seder challenged, but I plan on having a good time tonight with good food and watching the film, "When Do We Eat?" (2005) 
          
          I've also decided to add more to the short story, "Passover 2018" from The Loki Chronicles - once I finish editing and releasing "My Friend Loki: Quarantine."
