I can't explain how much I hate ddlg. I used to think I'm into that because of certain influences (Tumblr, Wattpad, Twitter) but I've grown to despise it. Ddlg is a pedophilic, incestuous, abusive, triggering, dangerous and just straight up problematic. There’s no such thing as non-sexual ddlg. It's a fetish.
I regret ever writing something that includes the usage of word "daddy" unironically. Pet names are fine to an extent, but even they become weird and predatory-esque after a while. I regret implementing bits of ddlg into my stories and I wish I never wrote half of them. But it's too late and I can't change every chapter and it ok. Because now I know.
Many of the ddlg stories on this platform are downright glorified abuse. People defend it because it's "their kink". Kinks should be shamed. Abuse should be shamed.
