Sally was a mix of things. A ghost hunter, partial mystery to most, and a good person. What he wasn’t however, was someone who could handle bad things. The death of his best friend and stepbrother Larry was no exception to this.
When he received the texts from him, the first thing he thought was ‘Oh god, oh god, oh god, what the hell is happening? Larry what did you do?’ Not getting an answer back from the brunette after calling him, he ran out of the house he had been in and ran. Sally ran for what felt like forever before actually reaching Addison Apartments.
Checking Larry’s room first, his breathing started to pick up when he wasn’t there. “Damnit, where are you?” He spoke aloud to himself, fearing that the worst had already happened. Running to the treehouse next, he climbed up and got inside safely, gasping in horror when he saw the body.
“Larry no! What did you do?!” Immediately dropping to his knees, he screamed. Tears ran down his left eye as he cried and begged for Larry to just come back. A few minutes later he shakily managed to dial Martial’s number, his panicked and crying tone of voice able to be heard over the phone when it picked up. “Larry’s gone Martial, he’s gone!”

@utterlyunrealistic Sal watched him close the other males eyes, nodding and picking up his phone. Dialing 911 he made the call and answered any questions they had. An ambulance would be arriving at an estimated 20 minutes, and that would practically be forever. Hanging up when it was over, he sighed. “I was with Todd, Larry texted me and said stuff like I’m sorry for doing this.” Scrolling to the texts between him and Larry, he handed the phone to Martial so he could see what happened for himself. “After that I tried calling him and he didn’t pick up. So I ran to the apartments and checked the basement then the treehouse. And now.. here we are.” Trust him, he was upset about this and all, but he couldn’t help but be confused too. This whole event just seemed off to him. Out of the ordinary even. Remembering something, he picked up the note and gave it to him as well. “Found this on the ladder, haven’t opened it yet but figured you’d wanna see it first.”

@M-M3T4LNM4SKS / Martial kept his eyes closed tightly as to not look at the lifeless, cold-skinned male in front of him. He kept his focus strictly on Sal right now. He would give himself time to mourn when he was alone... No one needed to see him broken. When Sally started going over what everyone was doing, he sighed and let the male go, glancing over at Larry and sucking in a small breath. He looked so ... different. His pale skin was paler now and his hair seemed darker against it. His eyes looked hazed over like newly cut glass. And yet despite all that, he looked the same and still beautiful. "If that's the only thing we can do, we should call 911." He let his shaking hands reach out and gently stroke the male's hair. Tears went down his face and yet not a sound escaped his mouth. After a few strokes he closed the male's eyes out of respect and shook his head slowly. "Do...you know what happened?" He asked Sal without looking at him, taking one of Larry's cold hands into his larger, warmer hands. He let out a shakey breath and closed his eyes tightly. "Did he say....anything at all?" He didn't expect a suicide. Because he felt that Larry would come to talk to him about his problems and he could have helped. He figured that because they were dating, Larry wouldn't feel like that was the only solution. So naturally he blamed anything and everything else like the cold, food poisoning, even a heart attack at this point. "I didn't even get to tell him I love him..."

@utterlyunrealistic ( I KNOWWW ) When the phone had been hung up, he pocketed then realized the note was in his pocket as well. Taking it out, he debated on reading it or not. Deciding not to, he set it down next to him and continued to cry about the loss of his friend. Why had he done this? All he got was a sad sorry for doing this sort of text from him, no indication on why Larry had done what he did. Staring at those now empty eyes was horror for him, goosebumps prickling his skin at the mere sight of the deceased male. Hearing Martial come up and into the treehouse, he felt bad for him. Imagine having the person you love and care for deeply be ripped away from you due to suicide. Sally couldn’t imagine how horrible he must be feeling right now, and frankly he would’ve tried to comfort him but he wasn’t in much of a place too. Being pulled away from the body, he was going to say something when the redhead spoke. How the other managed to sound calm in this situation bewildered him, but he wouldn’t think much about it. Allowing Martial to hug him, he made an effort to at least try and comfort him too. Hugging him back, he exhaled shakily. “Who’re we supposed to tell? My dad’s most likely drunk somewhere, Linda’s probably asleep,and Ash is at home. We could try 911?” Yes Sally hated the police or any authority type of figure, but he was willing to put that behind him for the time being. Grudges and rumors were temporary, and he could deal with that stuff later.
