            “ suppose that’s just how the able bodied world works .  if i had known i would’ve included it  ,  despite what my organization did in terms of work and service .  we were actually quite accepting .  ” mafia thing aside , beniamino allowed many people to join aside from the backgrounds and the like .  perhaps that’s why his got so much attention in the first place .   “ unsure if i could even learn now but..  it wouldn’t hurt  ,  would it ?  ”

            ❝ i rarely get surprised beniamino , so i hope that you do your best to catch me off guard . ❞ there was a playful lilt to his voice , eli wasn’t a stranger to failure , no matter how painful it was for him , many doubted the validity of his gift and paid the price .
            there was a pause and eli’s smiled wistfully , ❝ there are many reasons a soul could be stuck , i will need to exhaust every possibility . i am a seer , the past is not my focus . i look to the future and i work in the present , time and life is ever changing . what’s done is done , but perhaps i could give you hope for a better tomorrow . ❞

            a weary expression tore at his expression , once that was forever carved into ghastly flesh .  the last expression he’d ever made before his untimely demise , alain thought he could save beniamino and look how that turned out .  no one can save him , not even himself .  “ you’d be surprised .  nothing has quite worked on me yet .  ” he answered , undead heart aching to reveal the truth but once again his stubbornness won in the end as it often did .  “ what will it change even if you do end up figuring everything out ?  there’s no point changing the past .  at least for my sake anyways..  ”

            eli noted the slip up , but once again his lack of body language and facial expression was enough to cover up any reaction he may have . he would simply have to look into it later , it seems like he would have a lot of time on his hands to sort things out and find a proper solution , ❝ don’t be so sad , i haven’t had a go at it yet . ❞
            eli was far from a quitter , occultism was his specialty and he had friends who would at least make an effort . he was surprised that beniamino was open enough to even share these aspects of himself and his life . there was a sense of appreciation that washed over him , ❝ i see . . if that’s the case i may need to stay for around the area for awhile , it doesn’t do me much good if most of your information is omitted . ❞

and teeth are immediately grazing his skin , nibbling here and there before biting down a bit harder .
