Thanks for the tip!

Although, Aftermath is not a romance. It's a war story with a focus on socially critical commentary about the treatment of the handicapped and veterans (which is still abysmal today). That was my goal in writing.

The relationship between Olivia and James is about emotional trauma and the fall-out of wartime on feelings. They haven't settled their scores or recuperated yet. All the romance is long past, and I'm fairly sure they don't love each other. They clearly need each other, but love? Probably not.

I know this book on the Historical Romance profile, but *they* put it there, not me and I don't approve.

However, I appreciate your opinion and thank you for letting me know! :-)

@Di_Rossi :) I really liked the book! I thought the plot was really well thought out and I liked how details in the beginning were mentioned or tied in later in the book. One tip I have, if you don't mind, is to allow the romance more time to grow and develop, and add more details relevant and interesting to their relationship. Hope that helps! :))
