Hi there! This is a complete shot in the dark but way back in the day I read a Pokemon fic of yours called An Icy Heart. I've honestly been desperate to read it again but I see you took it down (and also completely switched usernames, and went inactive but that's beside the point). It would honestly be amazing to read it again if you're willing to share it again and you happen to get this message!

Hey, I'm just glad I got a reply! That sucks to hear but I totally understand. Honestly a rewrite would be amazing to read but even if you don't go down that route, I still just wanted to say thanks for writing a banger story that I still think about from time to time despite being well removed from the Pokemon fandom at this point.

Omg an og reader!! Hello!!! As much as I’d like to bring back An Icy Heart, I’m afraid that’s not possible as the word docs were accidentally permanently erased when I upgraded my laptop (windows to mac) way back when :( I still live with that guilt to this day so believe me when I say I would’ve done anything to fix that timeline. Who knows, maybe I’ll start fresh with a rewrite of An Icy Heart as I’ve been wanting to get back into old hobbies, including writing :) I’m very touched that there’s still people out there who used to read my old old works even tho they’re no longer accessible!! <3

So, um… hi? XD It’s been like six months since I was last active on here, and boy did a lot happen. First things first, that kny one-shot? Yeah long story short, it got permanently deleted. All 2,600 words, gone. I was so frustrated that I abandoned it completely. This happened sometime between Christmas and New Years, which also happened to be when I got COVID. Yeah… I was not having the best time then lol. Then the semester started that following month, and if you know me, you know I always go offline whenever school starts up again. It was also a time for me to adjust to in-person learning again, so yeah. Oh, and there was a brief moment where I lost access to this account. A failed attempt at a hack maybe? Like I said, a lot happened lol. 
          
          Tbh, I’ve thought about deleting this account and never looking back. Most people I’ve interacted with have moved on, which is probably why the Pokémon fandom on Wattpad is practically dead, but I also don’t wanna completely terminate the work I put in writing those books. The quality on Wattpad itself has gone to crap too. Like, it’s become almost difficult to find a book with decent quality anymore and the amount of ads every other chapter is just annoying. This goes without saying, but I’m pretty much done with writing and will probably never publish another book here again. I’ve been on this cite since I was 13, and I’ll be turning 23 in two months. I think it’s time I moved on too.

@kimcgray95 Aaahh, hello Kimiko! It’s been a while. I hope you’re doing well! ;u; As far as  Wattpad goes, it really did change for the worse, especially once they introduced ads and paying for stories. I’m also very sad about the PWA! I used to always look forward to it regardless if I entered or not bc I knew I’d find some amazing novels through there! I was holding out hope that it would happen last year, which was why I pushed myself to finishing TBoD at all, but I guess it’s not happening at all. :/ It’s a shame too bc I feel like that’s what helped the Pokémon community on here grow. As for my account… yeah, you’re right about that. I may not have written novels that are perfect, but I am proud of what I’ve written regardless of its flaws. I hope whoever finds them enjoys it even tho there won’t be anymore writing for me. Plus, it’s fun coming back to my old works to see how much has changed! ;u;

Hey there! Great to hear from you. Yeah, it’s really sad to see Wattpad going downhill — I recently returned to it myself, and it looks like I haven’t missed anything. I’m especially sad that the Pokemon fandom died — the Pokemon Watty Awards were such a thrill for me, and I loved the community. I’ve thought about abandoning my account to, but I think you should leave it up; even if you yourself aren’t into writing anymore, I’m certain there are people on Wattpad looking for good writing and stories just like you are, and they’ll be thrilled when they land on your account, even if you aren’t too active anymore. That’s the route I’m taking, at least.

Chapters 39, 40, and the epilogue of TBoD are all finally up. And with that, TBoD can finally be left in peace! Thank you to everyone who stuck by this book when is came out in 2019, and especially thank you to those who’ve stuck my me throughout my writing career. I have one more thing to post before I depart from writing for good. Hope y’all have a wonderful day!

Don’t think I’ve forgotten about TBoD. I’ve just been busy with final exams. I’m taking my last one later today and then I’ll be free for like two months haha! I’ll work on the last two chapters after all of my work is complete!
