Oh, well. It’s kind of complicated. Argentina is very much protected by FIFA. Any and all games against them will go into extra time or provide fouls to the other team to ensure they get their goals. They’re their money makers. There’s also the fact that many Argentinas tend to be racist to the darker skinned Hispanics, and so fans have been displaying that in the stadiums.
