for anyone wondering how a seven year old can be vv smart ( especially when her dad's scott , whOOPS ) - it's because when hope bevame ash and scott was " technically " dead , she was left with her godmother , jane foster . then you add on that her mom / is / hope and well - you get a child too smart for her own who's also v sarcastic .
