Xavier Alfaro is of royal blood but tainted. Thus as a hybrid, he must die if he cannot fulfil their agreement made between his father the vampire lord, his deceased mother and their blood thirsty subjects.
However Xavier has other plans in mind at attaining his freedom to live. He journeys the other lands of TOW in search of the elusive Red Bloodstone.
A hidden relic that grants it's wielder the gift to shift time at will. Xavier plans to use the relic to attain his birthright to the Counts rule over his people and thus escape execution by dictatorship.
His journey however is not only conflicted by the hordes of his people that want him dead. The lands ahead are ones he knows nothing of but a few unverified tales. He runs into authorities that disdain his trouble and environments prone to crush trespassing wanderers.
The road ahead is harrowing but not without help. Is it to be trusted tho, Xavier knows not of such a word.
One boy's journey threatens to collapse the long held balance of peace between the humans and creatures. As with his own people there holds an unstable rule of law and order.
Will Xavier ever survive this endeavour long enough to see it's end. All will it all end in him plunging the world and everyone around him into a chaos soo massive it must have only been foretold.
