Hey there! You can call me Shift, though I write under the pen name V.C. Anonymous. I've been reading and writing for as long as I can remember - stories have always been my favorite way to escape, express, and explore.

I'm a young adult author-in-progress with big dreams of becoming published one day. My main focuses are LGBTQ+ romance, romance, and dark romance, all written with care and meaning. While I often include heavy or dark themes - such as trauma, abuse, or power imbalance - I want to be clear that I don't fetishize the topics I write about. Every element serves a purpose in character growth and storytelling, not personal enjoyment. (My poor babies have to endure the trauma sometimes...)

As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I strive to represent voices and experiences that deserve to be heard and respected. My stories often draw inspiration from music, movies, and real-life moments, but I never copy - I twist, reshape, and rebuild them into something entirely my own.

A little fun fact: all of my characters are connected - through family lines, friendships, or small, hidden ties. So don't be surprised if someone from one story suddenly reappears in another!
