Victoria Zackheim is the author of the novel, The Bone Weaver, and editor of six anthologies, the last being Faith: Believers, Agnostics, and Atheists Confront the Big Questions (Simon & Schuster/Atria/Beyond Words 2015). Victoria adapted five essays from her first anthology, The Other Woman, and created a play that is under development. Her new play, Entangled, had its staged reading at San Francisco's Z Space Theater and is now in development with Z Space and Artistic Director Lisa Steindler. She wrote the screenplay MAIDSTONE, a feature film, and the documentary film Where Birds Never Sang: The Story of Ravensbrück and Sachsenhausen Concentration Camps, which aired nationwide on PBS. Victoria created Women's Voices, a program now being presented across the United States, and will continue to the UK in 2015. She teaches Personal Essay in the UCLA Extension Writers’ Program, is a frequent speaker and instructor at writing conferences and for women's organizations in the United States, Mexico, Canada, and Europe. Victoria is a 2010 San Francisco Library Laureate.
