What the hell have I just read OH MY GOD ISTG I NEED DAYS TO RECOVER FROM ALL THE TWISTS AND TURNS. As someone who has never been much of a fan of crime thrillers, this book has changed my perception this book is hauntingly beautiful the first part and the ongoing second one as well I can't wait for the endings and more work by the author.

          Regarding your question, I would suggest revisiting Chapter 42 of SUT. You may have missed the second half of the chapter, which contains the first-person POV of a certain character after the revelation. That section addresses the confusion.
          
          If it still feels unclear, please do not worry. The upcoming chapters will unfold the complete picture in detail.
