You may have people in your life who are always there when you feel low and try to bring positivity into your life, and it's a good thing that someone is trying. But there is another thing: you may still feel anxious, empty, and overwhelmed because you want those people to actually notice you for once and realize how real the pain you are feeling is.

I'm talking about those people for whom you put in effort, but they don't acknowledge it because they are too caught up in inspecting your mistakes and constantly reminding you about them, even though you are putting in effort for them and trying your best.

Even if the whole world is with you, if that one person keeps neglecting you or your emotions, it can still keep hurting you, and that's understandable. You will feel different emotions according to the moments you go through, but the most important thing is that you shouldn't stay stuck in that phase for too long, as eventually, it can make things even more difficult.

People treat others according to the thoughts they carry and the mindset they have. Their behavior and words can show who they are and how they deal with different situations and people in their lives.

You get hurt by people you are close to because you feel deeply for them and try your best to stay positive for their sake, but they may overlook everything positive inside and outside of you.

If the environment you are surrounded by is toxic, then you are surviving it every day while still not giving up on yourself and the things that matter to you.

Being positive doesn't mean you won't feel bad or overwhelmed. It means that even during those awful moments, you try to stay patient when every thought inside your mind is screaming negativity.

Staying silent while your head is spinning because of negative thoughts can sometimes be your way of trying to stay calm. Learn to appreciate the little things about yourself because people can sometimes be too blind to notice your biggest efforts.

Words can work like both a bandage and a sword. They can go deep and hurt you in ways that can take years to heal. Some wounds are so deep that they leave such a powerful impact that they don't seem to heal easily.

Words can also work like a bandage. Sometimes, you yearn for comforting words from someone—someone who understands your situation and says the words you actually need to hear.

At the same time, words can also be the reason you feel broken and shattered. Some people have such sharp tongues that they can make others bleed emotionally. It can't be seen, but the pain can become too severe to handle at some point.

Sometimes, you just stare into space and keep listening to their words because you know there is no point in arguing with them. They aren't open-minded people, and for them, perfection matters more than anything.

Even if you have done something wrong, instead of correcting you in a proper and healthy way, they choose another way that makes you feel more vulnerable and demotivated. Those people aren't helping you, but they claim to be helpful by saying they are doing it for your own good. Such people aren't ready to accept their own faults because they are too busy finding mistakes in others.

Some people are blind, deaf, and silent when it comes to their own accountability. No matter how powerful they may look, when there is no accountability, it shows a lot about them. They may know everything, but they still choose to stay the same because they don't want to bring positive change within themselves.

Adopt wisdom in your life. It may seem boring, but it can change your life. Peace can come from within when you start understanding that some people only show off by trying to bring others down. They only continue to affect you because you start believing that they are right when they pass judgments on you.

How are you doing today? How is everything? I hope whatever you are struggling with gets better soon.

You must have thought about life being unfair to you many times. You try your best to fight every battle, you try to handle every situation, you try to meet people's expectations with all your might, and you try to stay with people during their hard times. You try your best in everything, but there are days that make you feel bothered, and you feel like a stranger to yourself. You can't grasp anything because your mind is all jumbled up.

You start questioning everything in your life. There is chaos in your mind, even when you are sitting in complete silence by yourself. Your breathing is the only thing you can hear, but the hurricane inside you is too loud.

Life is full of tests. Life isn't just one test itself; it is full of unpredictable situations and challenges. You move on from one problem, and another one may be waiting for you.

Life is a reality, and nobody can completely escape it. Imagine you are sitting in an examination hall with a question paper in your hand. What if you leave the paper blank? Will you pass? No. Because no matter how difficult the questions are, you have to face them somehow.

Yes, life can be unfair to you, but you are still living your life. Remember that. You need to be careful with yourself throughout this journey.

You may get disappointed many times, but that isn't the end. Life gives you chances, so don't miss them. Grab those chances and do your best.

I understand that life isn't the same for everyone. I'm not in your shoes, so I don't know what life has made you go through. But I just want you to remember not to miss the chances you have. I don't want you to let those thoughts take over your mind and lead you to neglect yourself.

Your life can improve when you try to make improvements yourself. It isn't impossible. It is possible when you slowly train your mind to think in a more positive way.

Forced smiles are always painful. The more force you put into your smile, the more it hurts your jaw, and you can feel it. The same goes for many things in life.

I know you are aware of it. Whenever you try to force yourself into doing something, it can lead to pain and disappointment. I'm not trying to say that you are always wrong for forcing yourself to do something that requires effort but will eventually lead to something good. Here, I'm talking about those things that won't bring you anything good and will only leave you losing your strength and mental stability.

Things that are done forcefully don't always stay for long. Actions that come from forced emotions aren't always genuine, and they don't last for a long time. The thing you need to do is think properly and wisely because your emotions are involved in everything.

In the end, you may be left feeling numb, disappointed, alone, and overwhelmed. Sometimes, you may feel nothing at all, and you become so blank that you can't even understand what just happened or what is happening.

You tire yourself by putting effort into things that don't value your efforts. But that doesn't make you a bad person. Don't take it that way. Don't allow negative thoughts to overwhelm you by making you think that if you did something wrong, then it means you are completely wrong and will always be that way.

Mistakes can be improved. Nobody becomes a loser just because they make mistakes. You become one when you refuse to accept your mistakes, justify them, and try to bring down someone who is genuine. There is a huge difference.

Think before you put your efforts into something. Thinking is important, especially deep and wise thinking. Your past isn't going to shape your future. Your present does, so pay attention to it.

It's never too late. Sometimes, all you need is a mindset that doesn't allow negativity to completely take over you. Take your time, understand yourself, and choose what is truly worth your energy.

In your life, you may have read or heard a lot about motivation and positivity. Your friends and loved ones may have tried many times to help you stay motivated and positive, and for the time being, you may feel better. But the moment you become overwhelmed by overthinking or anything else, all that positivity and motivation can leave your mind completely.

You just feel different from how you had prepared yourself to feel. This can also add to your overthinking, making you think that you are being ungrateful again, even after receiving all that positivity. This can lead to self-degrading thoughts where you start blaming yourself for everything.

When difficult situations befall you, it's a time when your emotions can be at their peak. You try to keep them to yourself, and that can give those emotions more intensity, creating chaos inside you that is silently happening while people around you are completely unaware.

In that state, you may feel trapped by your emotions, which just want to erupt and create more chaos and destruction. And let me tell you something: you aren't losing a battle just because you couldn't stop those emotions, even after trying your best. What matters is that you attempted to control them. You fought until the very end, and that's what matters.

It's hard to stay positive all the time, but what matters is that after the storm clears, you try to stay composed even when you are looking at the destruction it left behind. Still, don't try to give up. You get up and do your best again.

Your emotions may overwhelm you sometimes, but that doesn't erase all the effort you have made. Give yourself credit for every time you tried to handle things better, even when it didn't go perfectly.

[If there is anything you want to share, something heavy on your mind, you can share it and feel a little lighter. Even if it takes paragraphs to type everything. You can use my board and think of it as your diary, only if you want to. You won't be judged.]

Sometimes, your day ends with no good memories, and you go to sleep with a heavy heart and mind. You have difficulty sleeping because your mind goes into overthinking mode. It replays the whole day in your mind, even when you really don't want to remember it because all you want is some peace.

But peace also comes from within you. Sometimes, there is a hurricane happening inside you. Your emotions are like a storm. They first create silence, but soon they erupt and create a huge mess, leaving you feeling even more overwhelmed.

You can't express yourself because you are afraid that people might think it's your usual tantrum or that you are being ungrateful. People are quick to judge and slow to understand, and sometimes, when they finally understand, it's too late because the scar has already been left inside you.

You may have many bad days in your life, but those bad days aren't your whole life. They aren't your life; they are only a part of your life. Know the difference.

I agree that even if you have two bad days out of ten, those two bad days can still feel heavier than the good ones because they leave a huge impact on your mind and emotions.

What you have to do is train your mind, and that's one of the hardest things to do because your mind has developed a habit of overthinking. Habits aren't easy to leave behind.

I'm not in your shoes, and maybe these words aren't enough for you, but I still chose to say this: try to shape your mind in a more positive way. Yes, I agree that your emotions are valid. You are allowed to feel in every way you feel because that's how you are built.

But don't forget that you are human, and having emotions is a part of being human. Let this be a daily reminder for you: your emotions don't make you weak. They are a part of you, and they help make you who you are.

And you are more than your worst day. A bad day doesn't define your life.

A lot of people find it difficult to move forward because of their past. Their past has different stories, and it can make them feel stuck, confused, overwhelmed, and anxious.

We all have different stories to tell about our past. Some people find it easy to describe their past, while some just don't want anyone to get involved, not even a little. There are reasons why people feel so anxious and sensitive about their past. Sometimes, they fear that someone will create an opinion about their personality based on what their past looks like.

You just fear people criticizing you because you are already carrying those heavy emotions in your mind.

In this world, people can't seem to understand that your past doesn't define who you are today if you have made changes in your life. We can't completely erase or remove our past because it is a part of us. You can't remove a part of yourself without feeling incomplete. You learn to carry it slowly because you are the only one who truly knows how you went through all of it.

At times, it can make you feel uncomfortable when someone brings up your past. You may start thinking that you are the problem, but sometimes the problem is that they simply can't understand someone else's pain.

Someone who has been through a lot is already a strong person. People aren't always ready to accept that, and that's why they keep coming up with harsh jabs and taunts.

Learn to embrace yourself completely. Don't disgrace the parts of yourself that helped make you who you are. You can't get rid of your past because it has taught you a lot.

Don't live in the regret of your past while ruining your present, because your present will soon become your past, and eventually, you may end up ruining your future too. Then the cycle will keep going.

I apologize if I have overwhelmed you with this message. That was never my intention. I just wanted to remind you that your past is something you have been through, not something that decides your worth.

Taking care of yourself and setting boundaries isn't selfish. It means you are being gentle with yourself. Many people often mistake self-care for selfishness. Self-care isn't just about physical care, as people often talk about. Looking after your physical body is one part of self-care, but the other important part is looking after your mental health.

It's one of the toughest things to do, and you are aware of it. Mental health is something everyone knows about, but people rarely care about it. Physical pain can be seen and felt in our bodies, but mental health is felt deeply through our actions and behavior. However, people around us often take it in another way. They think it's just you being ungrateful.

The more damaged and hurt you are, the more it affects your daily life. And I'm sorry if I'm making you feel more stressed by these words instead of helping you.

You can't stop people around you from throwing harsh words at you or make them change their behavior. Yes, change is possible, but only when the person themselves is willing to change. You can't force someone to change.

I know it hurts. It doesn't matter how many times you have tried to stay positive and strong; people can still make you feel ungrateful just because you want to express your emotions, which is what makes you human.

You have done your best, and you still want to do better. But some people are stuck in the habit of blaming others because they aren't allowing themselves to change. They have chosen another way to deal with their own emotions, and unfortunately, that way ends up hurting the people around them.

I really hope that one day you wake up with healed wounds and a heart that isn't so heavy to carry. I don't know what more words I should use, but just know that you have already done so much and you have come so far.

Sending you a virtual hug for all the silent battles you have fought. Please be gentle with yourself. You deserve that kindness too.

This is my second story… and honestly, I’m a little nervous but more hopeful.
My first one didn’t get the love I expected, but this time I’m writing from my heart—with more patience, more feelings, and a little more imaan.
Ishq-E-Haqiqi isn’t just a love story… it’s about broken hearts, silent love, and the kind of connection that’s written by Allah Himself.
It’s about Daneen, who loved and lost…
About Kiyaan, whose love stayed even in silence…
And about the kind of ishq that doesn’t fade, it finds its way back.
I might be slow in updates… days, maybe months, but please stay.
Give this story a chance… maybe this time, it’ll find a place in your heart. ✨ https://www.wattpad.com/story/413990536?utm_source=android&utm_medium=link&utm_content=share_writing&wp_page=create&wp_uname=farheenunfiltered
