I know we’re all dealing with some tough stuff right now. But I hope that today we can still celebrate and honor this important day while also remembering that injustices continue to happen every day.
It worries me to see so many Black Americans whose lives have been taken recently. It worries me for myself, for my sister, and for everyone I’ve had the joy of connecting with over the years.
I hate living in fear. So I hope that today, and every day after, we can find just a little bit of peace and love where we can.
