Hi everyone! Before you start Alon ng Panahon, I just want to share a few words first.
This story is something I’ve always wanted to write — a mix of historical fiction, rom-com, drama, and time travel, all set in our beloved Philippines.
It’s not your typical “duke and duchess” type of historical story. Instead, we go back to the time of the Kastila, rebolusyon, and the early days of our ancestors — where kalesas rolled on cobblestone streets, people wore baro’t saya and barong tagalog, and every corner had a story to tell.
Through the chaos of time, we’ll follow Tadeo Haraya, a modern student who accidentally gets transported into the past after a simple museum trip. There, he’ll meet people who look oddly familiar — the reimagined versions of our favorite Tokyo Revengers characters — but this time, they’re Filipinos living in a world without phones, memes, or Wi-Fi.
This story will explore friendship, destiny, and how the past and present can unexpectedly connect. Expect comedy, romance, culture, and just the right amount of drama.
I wrote this not only for fun, but also as a love letter to our own history — to show that Filipino stories, language, and humor can shine even in a world inspired by anime.
Please note that while this story includes historical references, it’s still fictional and meant purely for entertainment. I’ll do my best to honor our culture and history while keeping things light, heartfelt, and exciting.
