oh my god you guys. 
          	we had to evacuate my town because there are a tonne of bush fires. 
          	i have never been so scared in my life. 
          	my sister kept on adding toys to the stuff she wanted to save in case our house burned down. 
          	we didn’t have power for 12 hours (which is the longest i have ever gone without power and it was really scary).
          	we didn’t know if we were going to come back to a house or not because we had to get to the coast in case the fire reached our town. 
          	there were fire warnings on the radio and stuff and it was so scary. 
          	and it still isn’t entirely over and i’m still terrified but they apparently have it under control. 
          	jesus christ that was the worst weekend ever.

@mcrningstars same here, we didn't get power for 24 hours and the horizon was glowing red as well as ash blowing into the window of my car as we ecacuated

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE. 
          
          i know most of y’all will still be stuck in 2017 for a few more hours, but here in australia it is (thank god) 2018. although there have been a few rough patches in 2017, it was overall an okay year and my friends helped me get by.
          
          i hope 2018 treats you well, when you get there!! and, once again, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

What Lies Within, after being published for longer than a year now, is not too far away from completion!! I’d really like to give a shoutout to @Ebzzzz, because she has always sparked my confidence in letting me know that people actually read it, and for also always encouraging me to finish even after I gave up in wanting to complete it. Even though the updates have been weeks - even months - apart from each other, I have recently had multiple lightbulb moments, so hopefully updates will be more frequent, and completion is right around the corner!!
