Another huge batch of chapters has been released for In Search of Equilibrium! ❤️

I think my favourite chapters to write so far have been “A Seat at the Table” and “What’s Left of the Queen.”

I wrote both of those chapters probably a month ago and they’ve been sitting in the drafts, so I’m really happy they’re finally released.

I love adding cinematic elements to the story, and I remember writing “A Seat at the Table” and imaging the window part.

I wanted it to feel very raw and emotional and it’s actually the first chapter I cried while writing. I love getting in the details and bringing a scene to life. ❤️

About me!

Hi, I’m Ashley, and I have an unhealthy obsession with messy, complicated characters. If there’s drama, angst, and a little bit of morally questionable decision-making, I’m all in. I write stories that explore self-worth, love, and the chaos that comes with being young and reckless—usually with a protagonist who’s a little misunderstood (and maybe a little unhinged).

When I’m not writing, I’m probably overanalyzing fictional relationships, drinking way too much coffee, or convincing myself that starting a new project before finishing the last one is a great idea. If you love stories with sharp dialogue, intense emotions, and characters who make terrible choices in the name of love, you’re in the right place.
