            zhongli loved diluc’s touch , he leaned against the redhead’s hand ; like a cat is to its owner . he held diluc’s hand on his cheeks , never wanting to let him go . for a long time , he never felt as safe and loved as he is now . to be accepted for who he is , to have his company stayed after such a huge reveal ; it brought peace to his heart . as if loads of burden were lifted off of his shoulders . though , a thought do came to mind . “mm .. what next , then ? i didn’t exactly .. expect a kiss to happen . i can’t get it out of my head .. is it normal ?”

            as zhongli parted , diluc almost followed , all too obvious with the greed he had for their warmth . but he respected the other and let their lips part , taking his breath in once more . yet the taste of the former - archon's lips did not leave his own immediately , it lingered as if to mock him and leave him wanting it forever . diluc smiled at the brunette , nodding at his question .⠀ ❛ i always feel better with you , ❜⠀ he said , reassuring the other with a soft stroke to his cheek .

            well who could blame the story teller ? the part that he picked up on was already exciting enough on its own , more so when it progresses and diluc listens . though his attention was quickly pulled away from the story when zhongli's laugh rang in his ear .. how beautiful it is . diluc turned to the brunette again and tilted his head .⠀ ❛ was there ... something funny with the story ? ❜

“oh please , he’s just interested in the tales of the old fallen archon ,” zhongli chuckled , stealing a glance towards the redhead . seems like he’s into the tale , as expected of iron tongue tian’s storytelling . he was quite amused , though . the curiosity in diluc’s eyes , very .. adorable . zhongli couldn’t help it , a lighthearted laughter could be heard from him soon after .

            so he / had / guided others before ! curiosity had the redhead opening his mouth to ask , but stopped as he directed his attention to the story teller that the other looked at .⠀ ❛ interesting . mayhaps he's a fan , ❜⠀ diluc joked as he observed the way he spoke . but soon fell quiet as he took in the words from the tale , now holding a face of wonder for the story .

            ❛ uh .. ❜⠀ diluc peered to the side , his hands clasping together and laying on top of the table .⠀ ❛ i don't find the conversations with them all too bothersome . i quite like the discussions that we share . ❜⠀ that was an understatement ; diluc LOVED the discussions , especially when it was mostly just him nodding and listening intently to what this person had to say .

 the former archon raised an eyebrow , how interesting . taking a sip of his wine , he held the wine glass close to himself , fingers tapping on the rim with a rhythm . he had an inkling on who it may be , but maybe he had to dig just a little deeper to confirm his thoughts . “why , this is certainly amusing . perhaps you could tell me exactly how you feel as you converse with this person ?”

            ❛ how so ? ❜⠀ setting the glass down , a little game was started without that other's notice ; seems like zhongli was clueless , and diluc wanted to see if the wise liyuean could pick up after a few hints or so .⠀ ❛ i suppose they may count as a regular . though they don't come here every day since they're not always given the liesure , but it's quite an enjoyable time whenever they get to visit . ❜
