You know, it's a shock when you almost get attack by burglars in your own home and your brother's boss tells you he'll help you find another house to stay in but you'll have to get rid of your dogs.
I actually hate it. Why can't some people understand that a dog is your family that you raised from a puppy and now I'm told to get rid oof them?
Someone threw away a whole litter of kittens. My dogs killed two before I could stop them.
Why's people so cruel? And why must dogs want to kill cats?
I saved two, though, I can't keep them. I don't want another dead kitten on my conscience.

Tell me about it one of my aunts' cats ran away and they found him with only one eye turns out someone used a BB gun on the cat. It was horrible.

It's so stupid that art spam thing. People contacting authors to try and make their stories into comic art.
The person doing it is quite stupid, really. Every time they change their name in different variations.
It's ridiculous.
My one cousin who writes on Wattpad had one or two of those messages. I told her not to believe it.
I had only one of those with a story of mine who only has like two chapters. Like why? Why does these people think it is okay to send them?
I heard from another author, those messages are common on FF.net too. I saw only a few there, though.
I hope other authors out there don't believe the spam messages either.
Like seriously, keep your works safe from that madness.

It's winter where I'm living. I hate the cold.
I did get a comic artist message that wasn't from wattpad that was legit because she thoughtfully commented on my story.
And wattpad never ever does automatic message methods.
And I know a comic book artist interested in stories who didn't spam me or send me an advertising thing. She made a thought comment on one of my stories instead of just trying to self advertise. One way if they are bothering your comment section in a book Here's what to do:
1. If there's a link check for the webtoon word "Only that is legit".
2. If it happens consistently write an author note explaining comment sections are only to be used in actually relation to the story people are reading.
3. Spamming Self Advertisements when not writing material like stuff on Webtoon related are breaking Wattpad's Code of Conduct rules.
4. If you recognize a suspicious username but the username keeps changing their name take multiple screenshots of their changed username.
4. Before you submit a report ticket never tell the person you are reporting them, that gives them an instant heads up to change their name too quickly.
5. After you sent in the support ticket make sure one of your tickets includes the inapp screenshot of the code of conduct comment breaking Wattpad Protocol and separately report the person. Save a screenshoot of the comment and each suspiciously sneaky username change into photos on your phone when you get the email notification that your ticket's been received reply to both emails with extra screenshots you got. The person annoying you can be reported directly to wattpad through their profile and they can't see that you're doing it.
It took me two tickets to get someone to stop spamming me self-advertisement comments on my stories. And I knew they were suspicious because their comments were automated.
