          Okay okay... Long time no see? 
          
          I know... I've been MIA for wayyyy too long, the updates have been slower than a snail on vacation, and I owe every single one of you the biggest apology ever.
          
          I'm really, really sorry.
          
          I wish I could come here and say, "Surprise! I've been secretly writing 50 chapters!" but... yeah, no. 
          
          The truth is, life has been a little too overwhelming lately. My brain has decided to become a completely blank notebook, and no matter how hard I try, the words just don't come out the way I want them to. And trust me, that's been frustrating for me too.
          
          There was even a moment where I genuinely thought about giving up on HATE WRITTEN IN VOWS.
          
          But then I'd remember all of you...
          
          The comments that make me smile like an idiot, the theories you come up with, the excitement over Aanya and Reyaan, the "Update pleaseee " messages... all of it reminds me that this story isn't just mine anymore. It belongs to all of us.
          
          That's exactly why I don't want to rush it.
          
          I'd rather make you wait a little longer than give you chapters that don't do justice to the story or to your expectations. You all deserve the best version of HWIV, and that's what I'm trying my hardest to give you.
          
          So... please don't give up on me just yet? 
          
          Keep a little faith in me and in HWIV. I promise this isn't a goodbye it's just a tiny pause. I'll be back before you know it, and we'll continue this chaotic journey together. 
          
          Thank you for loving my babies, for loving this story, and for sticking around despite my disappearing acts. You have no idea how much it means to me.

          Drink lots of water. 
          Eat your meals. 
          Get enough sleep (yes, I'm looking at you ).
          And keep smiling because you look cute when you do.
